Artist's Note

While making this piece I kept thinking it should carry the grandeur of a queen and the power she holds.

That thought guided where the design would sit and how it should move with the garment. But more than placement it was the artistry that gave it life.

The gold threads do not just decorate, they bring grace and authority to the shirt. The floral motif, set with elegance, was my way of turning something familiar into something higher, a reminder that beauty itself can command respect.

Care

Each NOVI piece is a work of art, crafted with intention, layered in meaning, and made to last. To preserve its beauty, structure, and soul, we recommend:

- Gentle hand wash in cold water with mild detergent

- Do not bleach, tumble dry, or wring

- To retain color and shape, air dry flat, away from direct sunlight

- If ironing, use low heat with a protective cloth

- Avoid direct heat on embroidery, artwork, or embellishments

- Store in the NOVI dust bag when not in use to maintain its form and finish

These garments carry philosophy, craftsmanship, and story, wear them freely, but care for them deeply.

The Story

They say a queen’s true power is not in the crown she wears but in the way the world bends quietly to her presence. Indrani is that power made cloth. Gold Zardozi threads spill across the shirt like rays of a hidden sun, carrying the grandeur of ancient courts and the weight of celestial command. The floral motifs soften, yet never weaken, her strength, reminding us that elegance and authority are not opposites, but partners. Born from KARAM, a collection that questions fate and free will, Indrani stands at the meeting point of mythology and modernity. Over sixty hours of devotion went into her making, every stitch placed by artisans who carry India’s heritage in their hands. This is more than a garment. It is grace sharpened into power. And in all the world, there will only ever be five.
